What do you guys think about a collection of the the comic strips being offered in a paperback edition, like the kind newspaper comics offer?

If the chance arose I'd probably try and buy some books. Depends on the payment method though; don't have a credit card and I really hate sending payment through the mail, since it sometimes never gets there or just takes forever to (used to get complaints on eBay all the time).

I'm not exactly sure what the rules are here. We're looking around at different publishing services, but might have one in mind.

Usually though, paypal accounts or charge cards are what online retailers want.

A dead-tree AAL edition will necessarily include the strips, of course -- they're kind of the point of such a collection. Aside from that, however, there are a number of other candidates for inclusion in such a book. In no particular order, or degree of plausibility...

The strips have differing aspect ratios -- they're all the same width, but are not all the same height. Therefore, if you go with a one-strip-per-page layout, the amount of whitespace on each page will vary. Perhaps you could include some "historical footnotes" that cover aspects of the AAL-verse you haven't had an opportunity to include in the comic yet? Alternately, you could fill the space with random pieces of art by Brooke and/or fans of the strip.

Whole-page "pin-up art" might be good.

How about a text-only, un-illustrated story set in the AAL-verse?

AAL-ish limericks. And other poetry -- Apollo knows there's mass quantities of different verse forms that could be used.

The rules, and board, for an AAL-oid boardgame. This could be either an attempt to immortalize the girls' adventures in the form of a game, or it could be a pastime which is enjoyed by various members of the Enchanters' culture. Either way, you'll want to be careful about what sort of ancillary equipment is required, over and above the board...

Sheet music and/or lyrics sheets with chords, for AAL-inspired songs.

Flip-book animation for one of the outside corners of the pages?
