Meet Ginger, Geoffrey and Xodiac, our winged adventurers.
Ginger:
Ginger was the first of the group to come to me, namely because I thought the idea of a dragon-winged elephant was too cool to pass up. I didn't recall seeing one before, so it seemed like a unique enough character.
Ginger is a surly, short-tempered and violent. She's always tough, dutiful and no-nonsense. Something tells me we'll find out more about how she ended up this way.
Oh, special trivial note. I was on Miss Mab's "Dan and Mab" website shortly after conceiving of Ginger when I saw this image:
Heh, turns out dragon-winged elephants aren't so unique as I thought.
Geoffrey:
A dragon-raccoon (dracoon?), Geoff is the leader of the group and the best at strategy. Geoff and Ginger are also paramours, if you can conceive of that. Geoff was the second character I conceived of, and the one that gave me the idea to make Geoffrey and Ginger both English. It might not be noticable yet, but some of their dialogue will suggest this.
Something about a raccoon reminded me of a Robin Hood-type of character, a slick little thief. He's dashing, assure of himself and a good fighter. He's also a bit dippy in the head sometimes.
Xodiac:
I needed one last character when I remembered a friend of mine whose fursona was that of a dragon coyote (a dragote, if you will). As such, Xodiac is the one character that isn't mine. Xodiac is an experienced fellow, good in a fight and specializing with a bow and arrow. He's the calmest and most open to newcomers of the group. His quiet personality on the other hand can push him to the back, sometimes quite literally.
Ginger:
