Let the whitewashing of history commence...They're already hagiographing him in all the press. Okay, far be it for me to kick a guy while he's down (literally) but come on, let's not mince words here. We're talking about a guy who was born into a life of privilege (bought and paid for by dead bodies in the 1920s, thank you very much) and somehow managed to spend 47 years in the Senate convincing Bay Staters that he was a man of the people. Well, water under the bridge now. He's passed on, so he's straight with the house again.

Not to mention the fact he left a woman to drown in a car he was driving that he crashed into an inlet and didn't report it til the next day.
Only two months in jail. If he had been any average Joe instead of a Kennedy, he'd be in there for more much longer than that.

I wonder if the Kennedy's waited 8 hours to tell authorities that Teddy had died. After they checked with their lawyers first, of course.
