Now it's just mostly blood, gore, and really cheap scare tactics with little to no plot. what ever happened to good horror movies. Like the 1932 version of Dracula I mean it had little to no blood and it still managed to scare people. Why can't we have movies like that anymore?

Because today's movies are made for an audience of jaded, spoiled 13 year olds who spend money on things that look pretty on the screen, and that's it.

Because an audience composed of jaded 20 somethings, who were conditioned to accept contrived story lines from goosebumps and tales from the crypt, spending their money on celebrity, and name recognition, are far superior in every way.
