All is not well at Selinda's Haven as our favorite family member, the boob tube, dispenses its usual life-affirming messages of consumption and conformity! Poor Ian is the foul device's first victim. Don't take it personally Ian, he talks to everyone that way.

Daphne and Hayley experience the magic of primetime news. Ouch.
As for how they get American television programs when they're in the Himalayas... uh, a wizard did it.

Hayley is blond and has the pony tail. Daphne has the darker hair hanging loose.

Oh Rosco, you were a wise fount of knowledge every week. How we miss your wise ways. On another note, Echo's wings look pretty cool stretched out like that. Plus, we found out you can exacerbate poor Tazel!

Well, that concludes "TV Time." Thanks to Brittney for her work on these last few strips. It's fun to check in on the Haven crowd every now and then.
Now, someone has to explain how they're getting reception of American television in the Himalayas...

I noticed that Ian was the only one who listened to what the tv had to say. Was that due to his insecurities and that the infomercial at the moment played to them?

That strip wasn't really meant to single Ian out... I just needed a subject for that joke and Ian was available. It would have worked with anyone at the Haven.
It's not a reflection on Ian in particular, just that commercials prey on anyone's insecurities.
