And we're back! Qaplah!
A more laid-back character-driven story this time, as Ally, Sheila and Calpurnia spend a day of rampant consumerism and discuss how life is. For the honor of Greyskull!

If that would have segued into Romero's "Dawn of the Dead," it would have been the perfect video. Also, irking Calpurnia is one of my favorite pasttimes.

We return! Sorry for the delays, I just started a new job and Brooke has been busy with other projects, so we were both sort of distracted. Nice to be back!
And look! Calpurnia CAN give Peter a compliment, even if it's backhanded and in her normal condescending tone.

Oh Calpurnia, you wascally wabbit! Will you never change your snide ways?

Wolfman's got nads... Goonies is getting a belated sequel, and somewhere, Andre Gower waits patiently by a phone... Also, Calpurnia and Angie's argument is starting to resemble the kind my mom used to have with my sister.

We get our first real crack in Calpurnia's armor here, which I think is pretty important. Calpurnia, like her daughters, is a product of her environment, let's see where she goes with this.

Didn't lead to a soap opera-ish slap fight like I thought it would.
Which is probably a good thing, seeing as how they're Enchanters.

That concludes "Mommy Issues," hope you all enjoyed it! Calpurnia learned a few things, Angie has been reunited with her mom (for better or worse) and we get some more insight into Calpurnia's background. And look, it's only a few months late for Mother's Day! Hooray! Stay tuned next week for a tale guest-drawn by Nicole Ponder!
