This current storyline represents one of the first attempts to peak behind the scenes at the Enchanter culture. It leaves way more questions then answers, but that's my intent. I plan to further explain in future installments.

Ally and Calpurnia at least got to end this story on a happy note, but don't think that everything's all cheery. We've just seen the tip of the iceberg here: You're going to see a lot more about the Enchanter culture in future installments of this comic. And there's going to be a lot that's not pretty. Until them, stay tuned!

I enjoyed this arc. Cal's character is very interesting and entertaining.

Glad you enjoyed it. We'll get to see more of the girl's family and culture as the comic progresses.
Calpurnia is meant to be an interesting character. Sometimes likable, a lot of times not. But that's who she is.
