I don't know what it is about that pinko Hugo Chavez that people in the U.S. find so appealing, but that picture last weekend of him being buddy-buddy with president Obama just turned my stomach.
This man is a dictator, and a hypocritical one at that. He tells about how the U.S. is a place where only the elite get their way and no one has any real freedoms, then he turns around and orders his police to bust up peaceful demonstrations in Venezuela that oppose his country-destroying social policies. Not to mention his ties with terrorist groups like FARC. Excuse me, I meant freedom fighters, trying to liberate Colombia from... I don't know.
How he became a hero to celebrities like Sean Penn and Danny Glover remains a mystery to me. Wait, actually knowing Penn and Glover's viewpoints, I guess it doesn't...
