Ally: "Well, we *anthro* rabbits are primarily herbivores, but we can eat meat on occasion, especially if we're being sociable."
Sheila: "As another plant-eating species, I can tell you for the most part, we don't really have a desire to eat outside our normal diet. That said, I'll enjoy a hamburger from time to time."
Reece: "Num num num, gimme some steak! I primarily am a meat-eater, but I enjoy salads as well. Yes, we mainly stick to the same meals as our non-anthro equivalents, but our stomachs are developed enough to allow a little variety."
Ally: "So basically, we're all functioning omnivores to a certain degree, but in practice we mostly stick to typical diets."

Door, what was the riddle that you were going to ask?

Door: "Why was six afraid of seven? Because seven-eight-nine! Ha-ha-ha-owwww! Oh, it hurts to laugh... you don't happen to have the number of a good carpenter, do you?"

One for the lovely Ceryn:
You seem to use potions and other items as the basis for your spells. What makes this different than using 'normal' magic to produce the same effects?

Ceryn: "Yay, I get a question!" *does the happy taur dance*
"Okay, unlike the Enchanters and other naturally magic races, I'm a Earth-born mortal which means I don't have latent magic abilities. Those nasty Enchanters are actually magical creatures, which means their bodies act as natural transducers for magic currents. I on the other hand have to use magical spells and other implements to do what I want. These are enchanted items I've receives from my mistress Temujin... if I just tried to summon some magical power without having a talisman with me, nothing would happen."

I think it's time for the boys to get to answer a few questions:
Ok, guys, how did you meet your wives and what do you think was the reason you fell in love with them?

Will: I was playing at a club when I spotted this hot 'roo flyer being harrased by this poser tool at the bar. Without missing a beat with my song, I walked over, decked the guy and got back on stage. Let's say I left an impression with her. Sheila was the first person I met who really liked my music. And she was really funny. It's rare to find a girl who appreciates The Dead Kennedys and can articulately trash Miley Cyrus. Peter: I had been invited to a social mixer due to my magazine, when I saw this really nice bunny girl at the party. We both seemed to share the conflicting views of liking the entertainment industry while simultaneously despising the emptiness of it. She was the first girl I knew who actually cared what I had to say. I didn't just feel like an ornament on someone else's tree. Nick: Interestingly enough, I first met Reece when she was a customer at my restaurant, and then saw her later that day when Ally introduced me to her at a dinner Peter and Ally were hosting. I've known Peter since high school, so hanging out at his house is pretty customary for me. In any case, I thought she was cute at the restaurant, and getting to be introduced to her later that evening was like the universe telling me something. Reece has a very free spirit, I guess I admire that. I think the reason I love her is she compliments my personality.

This question is not directed toward any one character, so who ever wants to can answer.
Okay, we've seen that the enchanters, as a whole, don't really seem to care for mortals. Some find them distasteful. For others, it borders on racism. Others think of them as things to be used for personal gain or amusement. Others don't particularly care either way.
Granted we mortals are not perfect, nor are we close to it. Some of us are racist against each other. Some don't care particularly either way about others. Others use people to further their own agenda.
Now here is my question. Are there similar divisions between the Enchanters themselves? Can they be racist against each other? Or is it all focused on the "lesser," non-magical/non-special mortals?

Ally: "Heh, welcome to every one of my family reunions. I can tell you, a lot of Enchanters, especially the oldest and most powerful ones, have either disdain or total apathy toward mortals. Try to imagine you're a teenager. Imagine your outlook on life: everything is divided into things that are either cool or they suck. You're not expected to create anything. You're a total slave to the latest gadgets and technology. You don't want to do anything that requires work. Life is nothing but a narcissistic party devoted to you all the time. Now give yourself magical powers. Congratulations, you're a typical Enchanter." Reece: "Ally's oversimplifying, but there's truth in those words. A lot of Enchanters are that way. Heck, *we* started out that way. 200 years ago, I wouldn't have given a mortal the time of day. The reason we got more accepting of mortals is that we actually lived among them and got to know them. That's why I don't dislike mortals, I find what they do is interesting!" Sheila: "As to your question about whether we treat each other bad, then yes. We Enchanters are good at putting on a unified front when other races are about, but when we're by ourselves, there's a lot of envying and gossiping going around. I'm not sure if there's actual racism, because it's hard to show your superiority over another person if they have the same powers that you do. It's more like social one-upmanship and other nasty such things. But I have been called some bad things by other Enchanters before, like a cat enchanter who once asked me if that was my tail or did I have a log growing out of my butt." Reece: "Enchanters don't got to war with each other, but that's not because we're so much morally better then mortals. It's because on Earth, wars are started over the control of lands and resources. Enchanters obviously are not limited by food or living choices. The downside is, since we don't have to fight for anything, a lot of Enchanters don't appreciate what they have, either." Ally: "I can promise you, that despite appearances or magical powers, people are pretty much the same everywhere. "

What do enchanters do all day since they have semi-phenominal, nearly-cosmic powers?
They don't have to work. I suppose there will be those who research new and old spells and other things, but as a whole enchanters probably have a lot of free time since they are not required to work for a living and magic supplies most of their needs and wants.

Calpurnia: "I'll handle this one. My dear boy, the answer to your question is, we do whatever we want. Most of us spend our days listening to the finest music from all the different worlds, trying on new clothes, eating the best cuisine and generally having fun all the time. We travel to different realms, hobnob with other species and just relax."
Patricius: "I try to get to know people. Heh, my daughter might say I try too hard. I spend a few decades in one place and then move onto another. Some of us intentionally do some manual labor, just for the fun of it. We have poets, musicians, artists and performers. Everything in our society is geared around personal expression. Without having to work, we have nothing but leisure time."
Calpurnia: "Some might complain that we're essentially just a parasitic culture, living off other societies' innovations while contributing none of our own. I say, so what? Someone should get to enjoy the benefits of other's toils, it might as well be us."
Ally: "And you wonder why I don't visit more often..."

For the girls.
Are there any mortals that do know of the magical beings (and know that they are magical beings) that have taken up residence on Earth?

Sheila: "We try to minimize our interaction with mortals, or at least those of us who aren't undercover do. But accidents do happen. Most magical beings, even evil ones, are smart enough to keep their activities hid. But every now and then we get a dummy like Thrognar who's too arrogant to care if he's seen or not."
Reece: "But obviously, some mortals are going to stumble on magic goings-on. Thankfully, most of this can be written off as hysteria, like alien abductions or Bigfoot, which is actually a good friend of mine!"
Ally: "Others, like Ceryn, are sought out because they possess the rights characteristics that magic users need. In exchange for services, they get to be let in on the whole magic background. There's a few good and bad mortals with knowledge of what's going on. We don't know who most of them are, and most of them don't know who we are."
Sheila: "Personally, I wouldn't mind letting mortals know about all this. It seems mean-spirited to keep it secret. But there's some rules from the higher ups that we have to obey. It's part of the tolerance that's shown toward us living here. We don't cause trouble for them, they don't cause trouble for us."
