While not the main characters, Will, Nick and Peter provide their own entertainment as well. This current arc already shows their mutual bond over "Fast Times at Ridgmont High." Now that I think about it, Will is Damone Nick is Hamilton Peter is Ratner. Now, which one of the girls is Linda?

So we've established that the guys are a bit suspicious of their wives. But from their point of view, is it just paranoia, or are they on the right track.
Would the fellas be happy if they found out the truth of Ally, Sheila and Reece? Scared? Upset? It would be a lot to have thrown on your plate.

Well I think it'd be funny if they ever got the courage to ask their wives about the gals odd habits. Would the girls lie to them or just bend the truth a little?

That's a toughie. I'm guessing, that just for the time being, they would have to outright lie if really pushed for an answer.

And that would probably hurt the gals a whole lot to do that.

Indeed. It's a delicate balancing act.
But you got to ask yourself. If you found out that *your* wife was an evil-fighting sorceress and she was keeping the truth from you, as a compromise with the rest of her kind to allow her to be with you, would you be angry?

Angry? No. Upset? Maybe. I could probably understand her reasons, but I doubt I would be happy about it. Especially since something could happen to her and I'd have no idea where she is or what happened or even know something was wrong until she's gone way too long to be reasonable.

And that's the unfair aspect that the girls place their husbands in. In order to do a larger good, namely defending mortals from evil or misguided magical entities, Ally, Reece and Sheila must place their husbands in a situation where they could eventually end up being widowers.
Having a spouse who is a police officer or soldier is already nerve racking, but at least you know what line of work they're in.

Yeah, if you marry a police officer or soldier you know the risks of the job. To the guys here, the gals are housewives, a "job" that carries a lot less risk of getting hit by a fatal fireball or large club or being MIA.

It could be too stressful to know the truth as well. I mean, we worry enough about Earthbound dangers. Can you imagine how much more terrifying the universe would be if you knew there were evil superhuman beings as well?
